Oral Health and Cleanings
The oral health of your pet can be easily overlooked. Some of our pet friends are not terribly fond of letting us take a look in their mouths. But just as having a clean mouth is important for us, it is also important for our pets. Dental problems are most commonly found when our pets have consistent “bad breath”. They may not be eating the same or may refuse hard food. Caught early, dental issues may be corrected by a simple “teeth cleaning”. Left unchecked, however, dental disease may progress; creating heart and kidney issues. At West Villa Maria Vet Clinic, it is our goal to identify the underlying causes of your pets bad breath or other mouth issues and to help correct these conditions.
